Though symptoms may be discreet, the impact on cow health and milk production is significant.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s why, driven by the commitment of proactive veterinarians, several information evenings have recently been organized to shed light on this still too often underestimated disorder. These awareness events provided in-depth explanations of calcium regulation mechanisms around calving and highlighted the best strategies to prevent complications.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A special focus was placed on trace element supplementation \u2013 a key tool to support herd health. Zinc, selenium, copper, cobalt, iodine, and manganese all play vital roles in ensuring a smooth calving process and supporting both calf and mother health. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a trusted partner of field veterinarians, Biokema is proud to support these initiatives that foster knowledge sharing, open discussion, and the implementation of practical solutions in livestock management.
